I’m a kiwi who, like most kiwis, left NZ to spend one, maybe two years max exploring the world…and that was 20 years ago (much to my family’s dismay!)  Since leaving NZ I have lived in London, Melbourne, Amsterdam, Vancouver, Montreal, Paris, and most recently, London (again!).

Moving to Paris in 2010 provided me with the opportunity to take a year or two off from working – lucky me!  But being someone who thrives on chaos and stress, I had to come up with some sort of plan on how I was going to get through that time without driving either myself or my husband crazy.  My passions are predominantly centred around all things food…so given that we were living in one of the most inspiring cities in the world with a to-die-for culinary scene, I decided to capture all things food-related in this blog.

Fast forward 2 years, and we now live in London – my most favourite city in the world (I always say that I think I lived here in a past life).  Since the last time I lived here, oh so long ago, the food scene has changed considerably…not just here, but worldwide. And that’s what keeps it exciting.

If you would like to get in touch with me, please email tfyvie at gmail.com – I look forward to a foodie conversation with you!

How exciting for you to be on your world trip! Def have restaurant recommends but not so many in your neighborhood unfortunately. Some of my favs are Kopapa (in Covent Gdn), Moro (Exmouth Market), Ottolenghi (in Islington, so north but easy together to via bus), Modern Pantry (Clerkenwell), Bocca Di Lupa (soho). All need reservations, but you can do that online for all of these. Go to TimeOut guide online for restaurant recommends…they are good. And there shld be some down by you. Let me know if you want to meet up at all, if you want to pick my brains!!! Have fun. Toni
